Here is the "details" portion of my wedding photos. Lots of close ups and little things that make such a day so personal and pretty. Enjoy!
^ Candy Buffet
^ The most delicious cake pops I'm sure I will ever eat.
^ I asked that our cupcakes resemble peonies on top, and I was pleasantly surprised!
^ Our cake topper is from Ready Go Wedding Co. I made the flower topper on the top tier out of some leftovers from the archway and some gold wire.
^ I made our flower pomander hanging in the archway, in which case YouTube and google were my bffs : ). A couple friends of mine did the rest of the arranging on the arch.
^ We had little tags from Hobby Lobby with our initials stamped on them for people to write well-wishes and advice on. We then had a light-up tree for the tags to hang on throughout the night.
^ We knew we wanted to make whatever favor we gave to our guests, and we ended up settling on strawberry jam. Neither Matt or I had ever canned anything before; and again, YouTube and google were extremely helpful. It was no easy task making jam for this number of people, but I think most people were pleased that we hand-made something, and may have even been a little impressed : ). We put squares of burlap under the bands, and I made the tags in photoshop and tied them on with gold string.
If you have any questions as to where I got something or how I made it, please don't hesitate to ask in the comments or drop me an email! That's all for today, I'll share our portraits next week!

I LOVED seeing all these little details Leah! it looks like your wedding was just gorgeous. How fun they could make the frosting like peonies. I love the pastels for the flowers and balloons and wow... I will take "make jam" off of my to-do list now if it's this tricky! glad it was a wonderful wedding for you both!

Aw, thank you, Dus!
DeleteAnd making jam is definitely do-able, but there is a bit of a learning curve. Also, if you're not making it for ~80 people, it shouldn't be quite as daunting : )
