One perk of not having a job yet is that I've been able to make coffee for Matt & I at home every morning, instead of overpaying for it at a chain or being forced to ingest the old or burnt kind often served at the workplace : ). However, when you brew out of a 34oz. french press each morning, you go through a lot of beans. So, to combat the wastefulness of pouring any excess down the sink, I've been pouring it into a jar and refrigerating it. And at the end of the week, BOOM: Iced coffee.
And yes, as a former barista and general coffee enthusiast, I realize this is committing all sorts of coffee sins. But a) it tastes just fine and b) I don't feel guilty about wasting money or product. Win/win!
P.S.- Don't forget about the Firmoo Giveaway I've got going on! Only one more day!

I always do this! I hate wasting the coffee too. I know it's not as great as a proper iced coffee but it's actually really refreshing.
