Shirt: Permanently borrowed from Matt; Skirt: Old Navy originally, but I thrifted it; Socks: Target; Booties: Target

I never thought I'd see myself in knee socks and ankle boots. In my head, the combination always seemed a bit off/odd. Maybe something to do with proportions? I'm a very exacting person: I like things to match and be orderly. Symmetry is good, but I can also be very devil-may-care when getting dressed. Well, this is just a paragraph of contradictions. My apologies.

What's new with you guys this week?

  1. Sweet pattern on your socks! And...why is there an X-ray in your window?! Curiosity=piqued.

    1. Thanks!
Well, I thought it'd make an interesting decoration. You know, in a creepy sort of way.

  3. I love how you made the high socks work! It looks super cute with that polka dot skirt, which I'm absolutely obsessing over. ;)

    1. Thanks, lady! I try.
Yeah, it's great! I don't typically gravitate to this bold of a pink, but I loved the pattern so much!

  4. I know this isn't the focus of your post. BUT YOU HAVE LUNGS IN YOUR WINDOW. How did you get that!? OMG, its like bio-stained-glass and I want it.
    Also, killer skirt.

    1. Haha, I stole x-rays from my boyfriend! The contents of his lungs are now eternally (or, you know, until we move) displayed for all to see: )
And thanks so much! I love it too.

  5. I need to get me some knee highs. Or over the knee socks, because I have seriously loved every look I have seen with them! You look laid back and cute but still like you could kick some ass, which I think is the ideal combination!
Hope you are having a beautiful thursday!

And you're right, that IS the ideal combination. I try to incorporate a little of both each day: )
