There's something about pastels paired with neutrals that just does it for me. The mint & pink together toe the line of excessive girlyness, but the gray is there to bring 'er back 'round to the grownup side of life. Not that I spend a terrible amount of time there; thumb through any of my archives and you'll notice a fantastical theme throughout the majority of my outfits. Sometimes, that's just the best way to live your life: dress like you're seven, flash your ID everywhere you go to prove that you're 23. TRUTH.

Thanks Rachel! I fell in love with them too : )
DeleteYou look darling in your oufit. Love the pink and mint! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is THE BEST thrifted sweater, such a beautiful color! I love pastels with neutrals too, and the wintery color of your socks is the perfect finishing touch!
ReplyDeleteThank you Hannah! I know right? It's such a good balance together.
DeleteOh my God that SWEATER. I'm seriously going to swoop in in the middle of the night and nab it. This outfit is so so pretty. I'm loving this pastel and grey palette. And I'm right there with you about dressing like a 7 year old ;)
ReplyDeleteAhh, thanks Marlen! : ) Just TRY and come get it ; )!
DeleteI am so digging that thrifted mint sweater. I love when I'm able to find precisely on trend items at a second hand store. It feels like I'm somehow beating the system. The color combination is just right for the coming winter months :).

Ah, I know!! That's what's so great about thrifting!
DeleteThanks Ashlyn! : )
That sweater...drooling. Also, I'm completely inspired to do that high bun-bow combination now! I bought bows a while ago and was unsure how to use 'em in my hair without looking like a small child.
ReplyDeleteYeah, bows are definitely tricky; that's probably why I don't wear them that often. But sometimes I can make it work : )
